Game of Thrones meets the Terminator in this powerful new series from award-winning author Mari Mancusi.

Trinity
Don’t leave me here… It starts with a whisper. At first Trinity thinks she’s going crazy. It wouldn’t be a big surprise—her grandpa firmly believes there’s a genuine dragon egg in their dusty little West Texas town. But this voice is real, and it’s begging for her protection. Even if no one else can hear it…

Connor
He’s come from a future scorched by dragonfire. His mission: Find the girl. Destroy the egg. Save the world.

Caleb
He’s everything his twin brother Connor hates: cocky, undisciplined, and obsessed with saving dragons.

Trinity has no idea which brother to believe. All she has to go by is the voice in her head—a dragon that won’t be tamed.

I love books that involve dragons. I believe their wondrous mythical creatures, them and Phoenixes are my most favorite mythical creatures, and usually try to read most books involving either. The idea of this book, does slightly remind me Eragon by Christopher Paolini (which is awesome if you have not read it), so hopefully it isn’t too similar, but I am really looking forward to it, and have already reserved my copy.

Sooo… what books are you waiting for?

Apologies – Random Ramblings

16 Aug

My apologies my fair followers.

Just when I was starting to get going and getting into the regular swing of posting, I had some personal drama rear is evil little and throw me off my blogging path. I have been dealing with that these last few months, but hopefully its on the path to being mended, and my blogging and adventures may once again begin. I also want to apologize for my last post, I was in the middle of setting it up when stuff had hit the fan, and had forgotten that I had already scheduled the date for it to post…. and there for it posted incompletely. May have been a bit confusing, I know was for me and I run the blog.

I hope to be more consistent and up to date here on out and very excited for some of the up and coming books releasing in the next few months. Enjoy your reading adventures!

Ink is in their blood.

On the heels of a family tragedy, Katie Greene must move halfway across the world. Stuck with her aunt in Shizuoka, Japan, Katie feels lost. Alone. She doesn’t know the language, she can barely hold a pair of chopsticks and she can’t seem to get the hang of taking off her shoes whenever she enters a building.

When Katie meets aloof but gorgeous Tomohiro, the star of the school’s kendo team, she is intrigued by him…and a little scared. His tough attitude seems meant to keep her at a distance, and when they’re near each other, strange things happen. Pens explode. Ink drips from nowhere. And unless Katie is seeing things, drawings come to life.

Somehow Tomo is connected to the Kami, powerful ancient beings who once ruled Japan – and as feelings develop between Katie and Tomo, things begin to spiral out of control. The wrong people are starting to ask questions, and if they discover the truth, no one will be safe.

*Also available now for download is the prequel novella Shadow.

I have a love for Japan and all things Japanese. So when I heard about Ink, it grabbed my curiosity. Pre-ordering my copy was a done deal, and I cannot wait to get it on my kindle the night it releases.

Sooo… what books are you waiting for?
